Troubleshooting
Common errors and quick fixes across platforms
Magic link login fails or loops
- If the magic link sends you back to sign-in, it likely expired. Request a new link and use the same browser/device.
- Clear third-party cookie blockers for
syncpostly.com. - If Turnstile fails, refresh the widget and retry; switching networks can help.
Instagram "400 Session Invalid"
- Originates from Meta and usually resolves after re-authentication.
- Refresh the Facebook Page connection that owns the Instagram account. If still failing, remove the SyncPostly app from Facebook Business Integrations and connect again.
Low TikTok views or cold accounts
- Warm up the account with a few native posts before scheduling via SyncPostly.
- Avoid posting identical content to multiple TikTok accounts on the same day.
Facebook Page connection issues
- Ensure you selected Pages (not profiles) during OAuth.
- Confirm you are an admin on the Page and that the Meta Business connection is not limited.
Instagram connection and posting errors
- Password changes or two-factor prompts can invalidate tokens; refresh the connection.
- For publishing failures, retry with a smaller caption or fewer mentions; some errors come from spam filters.
YouTube "Insufficient Permissions"
- The Google profile used in OAuth must have upload access to the channel.
- If you manage multiple channels, pick the correct channel in the OAuth dialog; then refresh the token in Accounts.
General playbook
- Re-authenticate the account, then retry the post.
- If the error persists, capture the exact message and post ID and send it to support so we can trace the platform response.
